| What did you learn with this action?: | I learned that these men were all fairly close to my age and had lives they wanted to live back home. They willingly sacrificed themselves so that we may now live freely and comfortably. I learned that these men deserve a lot more recognition than they get. |
| What inspired you about this individual to do something in your life to make a difference?: | I was inspired by this man’s courage. He won an air medal and a purple heart and I can’t even begin to imagine the bravery it took to fly into those Italian beaches. It makes me want to be more courageous in my acts and do more selfless deeds for other people. |
